For parents and teachers
How a Case File works
The 4-I journey
- 1. Inspire
A quick wonder hook you can do in two minutes, then the ayah, read together from the mushaf text. Your child keeps one wonder question.
- 2. Investigate
Observe, compare what Allah made with what people make, and test it with a safe home experiment. Your child writes or draws what they found.
- 3. Integrate
Which name of Allah does this remind you of? Then one small plan for the week, with a when and a where.
- 4. Impart
Your child explains the case to someone at home, who signs the sheet. Teaching it is the second level of learning it.
Two levels in every case
Explorer ★ draws, circles, counts and says, often ages 4–7. Investigator ★★ predicts, tests, records and explains, often ages 7–11. Choose by what your child can do, not by birthday. Homeschooling families often print one of each, so brothers and sisters investigate the same sign side by side.
Six families of signs
Sky
Sun, moon, stars, day and night
Water
Rain, clouds, rivers and seas
Living things
Animals, insects and birds
Plants
Seeds, trees and fruit
Earth
Mountains, soil and the ground we stand on
My body
Senses, hands and how we grow
How we write and check each case
- The Arabic of the ayah and its English translation come from the same Quran text as Tadabbur and Mini Hafiz. Nobody types them by hand.
- Our asatizah check the ayat chosen for each case before families see it. Science facts carry their source and are checked too.
- We share creation as signs to ponder, never as proof, and we leave out topics that need a scholar's answer.
- Activities are safe and cheap. Anything with water, heat or small parts says so, with a line for the grown-up.
- No pictures of prophets or companions, ever.
